Owners, Jose and Callie Borraez had always planned on moving to Mexico to open a small store but in the meantime, Burbank is lucky that Artesanos calls them home. In honor of Dia de los Muertos, the store will be holding 15% off all Day of the Dead items until Wed, Nov. 2nd. “Some people feel it's a morbid holiday but that couldn't be farther from the truth. It's really beautiful,” says Callie. “We've been lucky enough to be in different parts of Mexico on Dia de los Muertos several times. It is such a celebration of loved ones that have passed.”
